What to Expect after you contact us...

Step I- Complementary 30 Minute Initial Consultation

  • We call you to discuss the scope of your requirement to ensure our services will meet each other's expectations.

 

  • We answer all your questions regarding the process. 

 

  • No up-front fees. 

 

  • Provide you with a list of our references.

Step II- Information Gathering

  • We conduct an in-person meeting to learn all the details about your business. Most companies simply ask that you fill out a form and send it in. We prefer personal interaction to make sure we ask all the right questions; there is no substitute for the insight we gain by discussing your business one-on-one.

 

  • We request all the relevant financial documents. Typically, three years of tax returns and current financial statements.

 

  • If you are working with an attorney or CPA, we contact him/her to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Step III- We Get to Work!

  • We begin preparing the valuation. 

 

  • We send you a list of follow-up questions required to complete your business valuation.

 

  • If applicable, we continue to keep your attorney or CPA updated.

Step IV- We Present the Business Valuation

  • We arrange a second in-person meeting, where we present the final report to recommend an asking price. 

 

  • A typical presentation lasts approximately one hour.
